Site Reliability Engineer
Summary

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and help us achieve this mission. As an SRE, you will collaborate with the development team to deploy new services, implement observability, and manage systems monitoring, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and vulnerability management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deploy new services and oversee change/release management via Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
- Implement observability to improve service availability, reliability, and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot systems, databases, and applications, and take proactive measures to prevent incidents.
- Respond to and resolve information security incidents in a timely and effective manner
- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis to determine the source and scope of incidents
- Design and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Perform capacity planning to optimize resource allocation and ensure scalability.
- Manage vulnerability scanning and remediation efforts to ensure security compliance.
- Maintain configuration management tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Conduct performance testing to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Ensure Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience and demonstrated expertise in Site Reliability Engineering.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Google Cloud Platform, Jenkins, Groovy, Ant, Linux, MariaDB, AMQP, Redis, PHP, and JavaScript.
- Experience with implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and observability tools.
- Familiarity with Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Go, and experience with automation tools.
- PCI or other computer security certifications.
